The Salt Box is a celebration of seasonal food and open-fire cookery through the coming together of people beneath the trees, creating delicious food from nature’s humble ingredients.  We celebrate locally sourced and wild ingredients through our wide range of cookery courses and dining events, all in the great outdoors surrounded by crackling fires. This is a freelance role supporting our growing team at our woodland dining events, cookery courses and corporate experiences.

Front-of-House / Event Support

This is a freelance role supporting our growing team at our woodland dining events and corporate experiences.

Kitchen Porter

Core responsibilities include washing pots, pans and all event crockery and glassware, seasoning our cast-iron equipment, keeping floors clean and sanitising food preparation areas.
We are looking for an individual who is diligent, with strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude. The role will suit someone who is local and flexible, with an estimated 10-15 hours per week across 2-3 shifts per week. Shifts would include a variety of weekdays, weekday evenings and weekends.
