Seasonal
Foraging Walks

Enjoy a walk on the wild side, as we introduce you to the hidden delights of nature’s larder.

Discover the delight's of nature's larder

Our passion for wild ingredients inspires many of our menus. When done carefully and sustainably, foraging is a great way of connecting with our natural environment and making the most of the ingredients on our doorstep. You can’t get more local than your nearest hedgerow!

Here at our base on the beautiful Priory Farm Estate in South Nutfield, we are lucky to have a wide variety of edible delights. We’ll start with a wild tea at our cosy barn, before we head on a walk through fields and woodlands, with a syllabus built around what is not just seasonally available, but delicious too!

Enjoy a wildly inspired seasonal picnic

Guiding you through tips on harvesting, correct identification and possible lookalikes, we will also cover how to keep foraging safe and sustainable.

This walk is designed for those at the start of their wild food journey, with a focus on how you can start to feature seasonal wilds in your cooking. We’ll provide recipe ideas and tips, as well as a digital foraging guide on everything we cover throughout the walk.

Our foraging walk will be followed by a wildly inspired picnic.

Please note, our Autumn foraging walk is not a mushroom foraging walk. The focus will be on wild greens, nuts, berries and seeds.
