Bushcraft Cooking, Surrey

Sourcing locally isn’t just about local food and drink. Our primary (and often sole) energy source in our outdoor kitchen is fire, so sourcing firewood that is sourced responsibly and sustainably is also a top priority.

We source our firewood from Logs For All, who work closely with Surrey Wildlife Trust to provide quality seasoned firewood, which has been harvested in a sustainable and responsible way from UK woodlands.

The management of woodlands helps to maintain a diversity of habitats with trees of different species and ages, as well as open spaces to let in light and warmth. This in turn helps our wildlife flourish, creating a well-managed, species-rich woodland. With Surrey being the UK’s most wooded county, it’s especially important for us to look after our beautiful woodlands!
