What’s On

Whether we’re nestled within a secret woodland or dining between the vines at a local vineyard, our feasts over fire showcase the very best of our doorstep produce, all enjoyed around our signature shared dining tables.

 

Our events always provide a warm welcome, a seasonal tipple and something mighty delicious from our flickering flames. Our aim for each of the events is to champion seasonal and local producers and artisans. Be that honey, a locally brewed beer, a surplus food night or a wild game feast. Each evening will have its own theme and we intend to shine a spotlight on it.

 

Each feast is unique, with a set menu inspired by our nose-to-tail and root-to-fruit ethos as we strive to reconnect people with what’s on their plate. We’re strong advocates of the shared dining experience, so at all of our events you’ll be seated with your old pals (and new!) on sharing tables. To encourage conviviality, a number of the dishes are often designed for sharing and will be put in the centre of your tables for you all to enjoy.

 

From seasonal suppers to breakfast in the woods, lakeside picnics to teas in the trees, our goal is to create experiences that people will look back on and stories that will be shared amongst friends and family for years to come.

Supper Club with Firebird Brewery

We’ve teamed up with Firebird Brewery for a beer-infused menu using an abundance of great produce sourced from in and around Sussex and Surrey. Dine with us in the heart of the brewery, set in a renovated brickworks, for a meal with a difference, whilst enjoying Firebird’s finest brews!.

We’re very excited to be joining forces for the second year with the beautiful The Green Escape, for a fantastic dinner cooked over an open-fire in the great outdoors. We’ll be serving a 4-course menu, celebrating the finest & freshest ingredients sourced locally from within just 10 miles, enjoyed beneath the trees and surrounded by bluebells at this beautiful, secluded six acre glampsite set on Surrey’s beautiful Leith Hill.

Bluebell Supper at Nower Wood, Surrey Wildlife Trust

We’re very excited to be cooking up a feast over fire at Nower Wood, Surrey Wildlife Trust’s Educational Nature Reserve. We’ll be serving a 4-course menu, sat nestled between the trees in this semi-ancient woodland, surrounded by bluebells.

Woodland Inks Workshop with Woodland Lunch

Mono-Printing Workshop and Woodland Lunch

We’re combining art and food for a morning beneath the trees. Join Ellie from Surrey Art School and learn how to create beautiful hand-made mono-prints using the surrounding woodland as inspiration. You’ll be working with vegetable oil based inks that are totally non-toxic and create stunning photographic results., followed by a seasonal feast inspired by seasonal, local ingredients.

Join Ellie from Surrey Art School for a lovely family friendly workshop suitable for children and adults alike, followed by a seasonal feast inspired by seasonal, local ingredients. Before we start the workshop, we’ll also learn how to light a fire in the great outdoors, lighting the fire upon which we’ll cook our lunch on!
