We’ll kick start the lunch with a glass of our very favourite local sparkling wine, Albury Vineyard Classic Cuvee, followed by a three course feast, cooked over an open fire in our woodland kitchen.
Ingredients are foraged, seasonal or wild and are locally sourced from the very best of Surrey and Sussex farmers and producers.

Our family group ranged from a 4 year old granddaughter to a 75 year old granddad and we all enjoyed the unique experience of breakfast in the woods. The setting was beautiful, the welcome from Becky and Christian was lovely and the food was totally delicious.
Beckie and Christian's passion for open fire cooking, quality local produce (both farmed and foraged) and sustainable products is clearly reflected in everything thing they do. Their friendly and relaxed manner creates an informal and inviting atmosphere, and their genuine enthusiasm for their events is infectious. Their events are well planned and their attention to detail impresses.
The Salt Box aka Beckie and Christian provide far more than a delicious seasonal plate of food (although their food is sublime!) Their events are a work of heart and make the world a better place for all of us. Highly recommend!
