& Seasonal Lunch

 

 

with The Salt Box and Poppy Wild Floral

We’re kicking off the festive season with a collaboration with Poppy Wild Floral, combining floristry and food for a day in our cosy barn on the beautiful Priory Farm estate learning how to create a seasonal wreath, followed by a seasonal feast inspired by seasonal, local ingredients from Surrey and Sussex.

 

We’ll kick off the morning with a festive brew and home baked sweet treats, fuelling us on our woodland walk as we forage for wild foliage, berries, pine cones and lots more for our wreaths. Back in the barn, Poppy from Poppy Wild Floral will demonstrate step by step how to create your own beautiful wreath to take home and put pride of place, on your front door for the whole Christmas period and beyond.

 

The wreath will consist of a sustainable moss base and seasonal foraged foliage, berries & pine cones. You will have a chance to further accessorise your wreaths much or as little as you like with festive extras such as cinnamon sticks, dried fruit, rose hips, crab apples, pheasant feathers and chillies. You can even splash out on thistles, berries and add a luxury silky / velvet ribbon for the ultimate festive floral wreath!

 

Please bring gloves, secateurs or heavy duty snippers for this workshop if you have them. Aprons will be provided. Following the wreath workshop, we’ll sit down at our shared dining tables in our cosy barn for a 2-course seasonal feast inspired by locally sourced and wild ingredients.

  • Full refunds are available up to 14 days prior to the event.
  • Instructions on how to find us and where to park, will be sent to you 72 hours prior to the event via email.
  • We have limited capability to cater for dietary requirements without advance warning, due to the set menu nature of the event. Please let us know about anything relevant prior to booking your tickets, a minimum of 72 hours prior to the event.
