Learn to pickle like a pro with us here at The Salt Box, in our barn on the Priory Farm estate in South Nutfield, Surrey. You’ll make a delicious collection of pickles to give your festive feast the edge. Then, use your newfound skills to make the perfect edible Christmas gifts for friends and family.

 

Pickling is one of those magical preservation methods that not only extends a food’s shelf life, but also takes its flavour profile to interesting and delicious places. In our masterclass, we’ll share our secrets to creating the perfect quick pickles. We’ll go over supplies, types of pickle liquor, and more useful bits of knowledge that will bring your at-home pickling skills to the next level! 

 

The evening will start with a light bite and a mulled festive tipple, followed by a 45 minute pickling masterclass. Following the class, we’ll sit down to dinner cooked by The Salt Box.

  • Full refunds are available up to 14 days prior to the event.
  • Instructions on how to find us and where to park, will be sent to you 72 hours prior to the event via email.
  • As with all our supper clubs, you’ll be seated with fellow diners on sharing tables. Don’t worry, we’ll make sure you’re with all your pals, and you might even leave with some new ones! To encourage conviviality, our dishes are designed for sharing between four guests (unless otherwise advised).
  • We have limited capability to cater for dietary requirements without advance warning, due to the set menu nature of the event. Please let us know about anything relevant prior to booking your tickets, a minimum of 72 hours prior to the event.
