Join us beneath the trees for a fun-filled afternoon of wood-fired cookery, firelighting and feasting as we celebrate halloween in the great outdoors.


This Halloween, discover the delights, sights and sounds of the great outdoors on an autumnal walk as we make our way up to our woodland glen.


Once beneath the trees, we’ll be sharing our skills on how to start your very own fire in a firelighting workshop, working together to boil the kettle for hot chocolate (or mulled cider for the adults!), accompanied by the obligatory toasted marshmallows!


We’ll then gather in our outdoor kitchen for a hands-on family cookery workshop, cooking up a two-course feast over fire to enjoy around our shared dining tables.


Expect a fun-filled afternoon for all the family, celebrating the great outdoors whilst enjoying delicious food cooked over the fire in our spooky woodland.

Further Information

  • This event is aimed at children up to 10 years old. Younger children will need assistance from their parents/guardians.
  • Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear to spend a few hours in the woods!
  • Full refunds are available up to 14 days prior to the event.
  • Instructions on how to find us and where to park, will be sent to you 72 hours prior to the event via email.
  • As with all our events, you’ll be seated with fellow diners on sharing tables. Don’t worry, we’ll make sure you’re with all your pals, and you might even leave with some new ones! To encourage conviviality, our dishes are designed for sharing between four guests (unless otherwise advised).
  • We have limited capability to cater for dietary requirements without advance warning, due to the set menu nature of the event. A vegetarian option will be available. Please let us know about anything relevant prior to booking your tickets, a minimum of 72 hours prior to the event.
  • We are a casual dining experience, there is no dress code. Many of our events take place in the woods, therefore we always advise on wearing suitable footwear. Whilst we always hope for pleasant conditions we recommend that you also bring a warm and waterproof layer.
  • The event will take place in the great outdoors, unless severe weather is due, where we reserve the right to make an informed decision. We have a woodland shelter to keep us dry! Find out more about how we tackle the weather in our FAQs.
