We’re combining art and food for a morning beneath the trees with Surrey Art School founder, Ellie Green, followed by a seasonal feast.
Our food and art collaborations guarantee a warm welcome, a gentle dose of mindful creativity and a feast cooked over our flickering flames, inspired by seasonal, local ingredients.
Time to fly my pretties, time to spread your wings creatively as Ellie from Surrey Art School shares some of her best tricks for capturing birds, bees and butterflies- the song of the summer season. With a mixture of drawing and watercolour technique learn how to capture the shapes of these creatures in flight, before adding a dash of colour to your studies to bring them to life.
Following the workshop, we’ll sit down around our shared dining tables for a two-course lunch.
Our woodland glen is based on a beautiful private estate in South Nutfield, just outside of Redhill, a 30 minute direct train from London. We are fully covered with our woodland shelter in the event of wet weather, but please do ensure to dress appropriately.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and Ellie’s gentle and mindful approach to teaching will encourage your confidence levels to bloom and your technical skill to blossom.
