Seasonally Inspired Afternoon Tea

Join us for a collaboration with Poppy Wild Floral, combining floristry and food for an afternoon here with us on the beautiful Priory Farm estate. You’ll learn how to create a wildly styled luxury arrangement using a variety of beautiful fresh flowers and foliage, followed by a seasonally inspired afternoon tea with a glass of local sparkling wine.

We’ll kick off the workshop with Poppy guiding you through how to condition flowers and foliage before arranging them, giving you a few simple considerations to help you get the best from your flowers and prolong the vase life.

 

You’ll learn how to create a perfect spiral, a skill that you’ll be able to practise at home. Poppy will advise you on how to select your own flower recipe to balance form, texture and tone – and then we’ll get stuck in making our own!

 

Poppy will also show us how to use bits of the flowers that would otherwise have been wasted, as well as pre-selecting British grown blooms that are suitably harmonious in everyone’s arrangements!

 

Following the workshop, we’ll sit down for a selection of seasonally inspired sweet and savoury treats, and a glass of Albury Vineyard bubbly.

Our menus are best suited for flexible, adventurous eaters with a strong focus on seasonally and locally inspired ingredients, including wild and foraged foods sourced from nature’s larder.

Dietary Requirements

Due to the nature of our events and in order to uphold high-quality standards we are only able to accommodate limited dietary requests at our dining events and cookery courses. Our dining events are intimate affairs with small groups, centred around a set menu lovingly prepared in our remote woodland kitchen by our small kitchen team, therefore preparing a separate menu to cater for dietary needs is not always possible.

 

Dietary needs must always have been communicated and approved prior to booking your seat at our table, and must be advised to our team no later than 7 days prior to the event.
