Join us beneath the trees to experience a forest bathing sensory journey through our beautiful ancient woodland, where the trees and nature will help you to relax and improve your wellbeing.
Inspired by the Japanese art of Shinrin-yoku, forest bathing is the practice of being amongst trees, using mindfulness to help you tune into your senses, taking in the relaxing atmosphere of the trees and finding a connection to the natural world around us.
We will be welcoming Lisa from Hinoki Forest Bathing, who will guide you on a sensory walk through the woods, where you’ll learn how the art and science of forest bathing draws on the therapeutic powers of nature to reduce stress and impart you with a profound sense of peace.
We’ll close the session with a taste of the wild: a Japanese influenced woodland tea ceremony, followed by a tiffin style picnic, inspired by nature’s larder and celebrating local, seasonal ingredients. And what better place to dine, than under the canopy of the trees?
