Join us in the woods this Autumn, as we capture the sights and scents of the season.
September is the harvest season – the hedgerows are bursting with plump berries, hips and haws and this workshop invites you to forage for inspiration before settling down to capture the beautiful bounty the Autumn season has to offer.
Working with a mixture of vibrant watercolours and drawing inks, we’ll sink into some hedgerow inspired studies – capturing rosehips, blackberries and hawthorn using a brush and dip pen. Surrey Art School founder Ellie will guide you through how to capture these using soothing watercolour technique. From wet on wet, to pen and wash, expect a journey of discovery to the mesmerising world of botanical watercolour painting that will leave you feeling calm and connected to this beautiful season.
Following the Art workshop, we’ll sit down at our shared dining table beneath the trees for a 2-course wildly and seasonally inspired meal.
