Gather around our outdoor kitchen and enjoy a six-course tasting menu, featuring our signature favourites, cooked up over the flames in front of you in our woodland glen.
Our feasts provide a warm welcome, a seasonal tipple and a mighty delicious meal from our flickering flames. We aim to champion seasonal and local producers and artisans, whilst making the most of nature’s larder throughout the seasons.
Each feast over fire is unique, with a set menu inspired by our nose-to-tail and root-to-fruit ethos as we strive to reconnect people with what’s on their plate.
Seasonal & Wild
As our chefs cook up a seasonal storm, we will talk to you about the provenance of our ingredients and the cooking methods we use to showcase them at their very best.
We’ll keep the dining group small (a maximum of 16 guests), so that everyone has a chance to engage and spark a lively discussion around the flames.
If you’ve joined us for a feast over fire before, you’ll know that our focus is very much on inspiring our guests to try something new. With our Woodland Chef’s Table, we hope to take things a step further and not only provide you with a seasonal feast, but share our fireside secrets.
Expect an open-fire cookery demonstration with delectable dishes and tasty tipples, laughter and good cheer as we celebrate the very finest of seasonal British ingredients cooked over the flames in the great outdoors.

What do we cook on?
Our woodland kitchen is fired by Country Fire Kitchen pits and hanging frames, fuelled with charcoal from Green Olive Firewood and a mix of locally seasoned hardwood logs.
We may also feature a wide selection of fire equipment, which may include Big Green Egg ceramic cookers, Gozney Roccbox pizza ovens, Kadai fire bowls, spit roast machines and more.

Our Woodland Setting
You’ll find us on the Priory Farm Estate in the village of South Nutfield in Surrey. Our woodland classroom is a 5 minute walk from our barn, where we gather before our feast in the woods begins.
Beneath the trees, you’ll find our tipi and wooden shelter, which houses our kitchen and dining area. Throughout the seasons, we embrace the great outdoors in all its glory!

Who is it suitable for?
This Woodland Chef's Table events are suitable for anyone interested in learning more about cooking over the flames and championing seasonal, local and wild ingredients.
Our menus are best suited for flexible, adventurous eaters. Due to the nature of this event, we are unable to accomodate dietary requirements at this event.
