A message from our Founders.

To ensure we can continue to offer the very best woodland experiences, our prices will be increasing on the 1st April.

Following two years of disrupted trading, a perfect storm of steadily rising food and drinks costs, skyrocketing energy prices, an imminent VAT increase, COVID loan repayments, rises in National Insurance and the ongoing disruption caused by COVID related cancellations is taking its toll.

Christian and I have spent weeks scrutinising our spending and whilst we have tried all we can to avoid increasing our prices, we can’t absorb these rising costs.

We will continue to put our hearts and souls into hosting our range of experiences beneath the trees, with a strong focus on supporting our fellow local food and drink producers. To stay true to these values that lie at the core of our company, you’ll notice a price increase of 6.5% for all our events. For example, this will mean an increase from £75 to £80 for our Woodland Feasts, and from £165 to £175 for our Cookery Courses.

This small increase will allow us to continue to welcome you all to the woods for years to come. We can’t thank you enough for your ongoing support and custom – we wouldn’t be here without you all.

In the meantime, we encourage you to take advantage of our existing pricing over the next couple of days.

For those who have vouchers to join us, we’ll also honour our current pricing for an additional three months until the 1st July (you will need to get in touch via email on hello@wearethesaltbox.co.uk with your voucher code).
